The simple answer is yes. It is societal norms that drive this scenario.
The media mainly portrays this image that is almost brainwashed into people that thin is in. Most young people, male or female, will say that they are not interested in larger people. I also think the idea that people could never be physically attracted to someone that is not fit tends to go away as people get older and more mature.
Weirdly I prefer bigger women because they are generally more interested "Do skinny guys like skinny girls" pleasing their partners. Thin, beautiful women are used to getting things handed to them, they think their looks make them good in bed and good at a relationship. You very seldom here a guy say I had a great experience with a wonderful lover. Stuck up men, men who think that they are all that, want skinny women. I, myself, love curves. I guess its how you carry yourself that decides whether your fat or just sexy.
Personality is part of how you look. I mean, if your lazy, it shows in your body, cause you get flabby, but if your active, but still bigger bodied, your still sexy cause your weight hugs your body in all the right places. I think skinny girls can be sexy, but mostly with their clothes on. A beautiful girls is Do skinny guys like skinny girls with a little form to her. Being thin is not important. Being comfortable in your own skin is what is important.
There is a point when a person can be too fat but it is different for each and everyone. It all depends on the person and how they carry themselves. Overweight is preferable to skinny bc then you are shaped like a woman, but very fat is definitely unattractive.
Guys that are hung up on physical traits miss the point. Attitude is more important and more fun. If Do skinny guys like skinny girls are concerned about looks it is due to their low self esteem.
A woman who is thin or a woman who is fat can differ in attraction, but that attraction is altered by how confident they are in their looks and how they carry themselves.
