Northumbria Police has released an image of a man they want to speak to following the terrifying attack at the North Tyneside Spar shop.

Armed with a lighter and accelerant, a robber threatened to burn staff at a Tyneside store if they did not hand over cash. Police say a raider stormed the shop, carrying what was believed to be a juice bottle containing flammable liquid and a lighter, at around 7.
